I think my boyfriend might have latent furry tendencies. What should I do? I love him but I think he’s got to choose between Teddy Ruxpin and me. That stupid bear talks in the middle of the night, it’s really distracting when you’re trying to role-play as a My Little Pony, I can tell you.
Thanks FurryFear.
I think if those furry tendencies remain latent, it’ll probably be manageable.
Don’t encourage it at any time, even accidentally. Wax fastidiously. Get shorter and shorter haircuts, but do this gradually so as not to trigger anything. Encourage him to spend more time in places where there is no hair. Laser removal clinics, that sort of thing. Oncology wards may seem like an option but are probably still to be avoided because he’ll just want to run home and cuddle Ruxpin afterwards. Also avoid old people’s homes because what is lost on the scalp is returned out of the ears.
Don’t vacuum up any pet hair though; when you do finally bring home a Ukranian Levkoy kitten it will seem like blessed relief.
As for the role playing, you may find it easier to incorporate rather than eliminate. As any good brony can tell you, ‘My Little Pony Tales’ introduced three male ponies, including one named Teddy. If it is an original Teddy Ruxpin that you’re sharing special time with, just change the tape recording to something more ‘ride the pony hard’ and less ‘follicles are your friends’.
Glad I suggested it 😉
